I was hoping that LEGO would release, as an addition to the Statue of
Liberty set #3450, a pedestal kit for her to stand on. I would also hope it
looked as nice as the one you built. You have shown (as many of the
creative minds that post their pics. here) that one does not need to wait
for a preformed kit - with LEGO you can just go ahead and make it yourself
(except that acquiring certain parts in bulk is difficult and very pricey).
You did a beautiful job indeed!

| (...) Thanks, Ken! I also thought about waiting to see if LEGO would release some sort of pedestal kit, but then decided that it probably wouldn't happen because of the limited market for it. I mean, the only people they would be selling to would be (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.arch)
