Fantastic work.  It really showcases the power of basic bricks.  It also
demonstrates a need for LEGO to get more of the new colors into circulation.
While I'm fond of reducing specialized parts, I must admit that I'm also
terribly fond of some of the new colors.  They allow for much more realistic
structures and models.

I decided it was time to add a pedestal to the Statue of Liberty set #3450. My results can be found here: (URL) also revised the torch by building it with clear bricks and then wiring it to light up. The wires run up the middle of the statue and (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch) !!
