I thought they were called humvees. They're a 4 door, but they don't have a
box. Just about a 70 degree slope down to the back. It's the kind you always
see on TV, in music videos, etc.

I'm afraid the firebrid had to get scrapped. I tried for an entire afternoon
just to get the scale right, but when I walk up to my firebird, I can see
right over it, so I figured it would be maybe a brick higher than a minifig.
The front grill is only really possible to make in 8 studs wide, and mine
was gonna be 6 studs, and then there's the issues of making a good sloped
back window.

I'd be open to any suggestions if anyone can help me.

(...) OK. I guess Humvees are the military vehicles and Hummers are civilian. Since mine doesn't have a mahine gun and I used Hummer photos for reference, I guess it's still a Hummer (That might make it GM instead of AM General though, I'm not (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)
