Wow.  Honestly I did not think that such a realistic looking Hummer
could be made at that scale.
I have to agree; you and Jay both rock at Minifig vehicles.

I had started to build a hummer ages ago, but gave up (the windows I used
forced it to be 8 wide, and I just couldn't quite make it look right. But
yours and Jay's make me wish I'd started building my vehicles just a touch
bigger!) I can't quite tell from the picture, but are those clear 1x1 round
plates for the headlights? (For some reason they look slightly bigger than
1x1... maybe an optical illusion?)

The doors, curved hood and the foot rail / step

I agree that the wheels look a tad bit too small.  I don't think I
know about any wheels that are just a bit larger.  Perhaps the 30.4
Technic VR wheels?  Or are they the same size?

They're the same size, and lower profile.  a 4x4 circle is almost exactly
the right size...unfortunately, they don't look very good as wheels/tires,
Actually, they're not quite; if you mean the Technic wheels that come in the
latest Race theme dragster sets, they have a slightly larger diameter (but
barely); put the tires on top of each other to see. However it's probably
not much of an improvement.

If you're lucky enough, maybe someone will donate/sell 4 classic 4 stud
diameter wheels to your cause. Conversely, if you don't mind buying a clone
brand (in the name of being easy to find replacements for those classic stud
diameter tires that LEGO used to make) Blockmen (I think they're called)
have a prefab hummer exactly the same scale as yours, with Lego Compatible
wheels (almost exactly the same size as the classic Lego 4 diameter ones).
Or you could just use 6 dia. Model Team wheels (it's a Hummer; oversized
wheels would probably look more natural than undersized ones).
