More detail pictures of my condominium

Someone let me in on a MLCad/POVRay trick to position the camera much more accurately so I posted some close up shots of my condo building. They are on the bottom of this page: (URL) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

(...) The curved 1 x 4 x 6 glass panels are great pieces. If they were easily available, I would concentrate more on interiors, because they are visible. MOC builders now have to battle 'collectors' of sets for a few key architectural pieces. pete.w (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Wow. Very nice. If someone gave you some tricks for positioning the camera, I'd LOVE to hear them! :-) Please point me at them, or post them, if you can! -Andy Lynch ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brad Hamilton" <bhamilto1@home.com> (...)   MLCAD/L3P/POVRAY Camera Tricks (was: re: More detail pictures of my condominium)

Thanks Terry K., who deals with the Model of the Month at www.ldraw.org gave me this advice. I'll paraphrase just in case he objects to any of his specific wording. In MLCAD, there is a "part" called POV-RAY (under Other Parts\P). Place 2 of these. (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad)

Yes - Those parts are almost impossible to get nowdays. I remember me thinking how "sissy" the Paradisa sets were when they were out. Only later, after seeing some people's MOCS using these windows did I realize how cool they were! There is a really (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

(...) I'm fairly sure the Hydronauts weren't available in Australia. If they were there aren't any now, I had to get my 6199 off ebay. You could find a use for the trans-green underwater somewhere ? (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Although that isn't one of my favorite sets, I bought 2 and traded for two more copies of all the trans-green pieces. I've used the (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Hmmm I actually create my rendered files a little differently. If you use MLCAD, you most certainly can see the x,y,z co-ordinates in the bottom left corner when you move the mouse around in the Top, Down, Left, Right, Front and Back "View Angles" (...) That's so cool! I was having real brainaches trying to work out the co-ordinates I wanted to set my camera up to use, and this makes it fairly simple. Dan (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad)
