Okay here's where I get to admit how computer illiterate I am. I don't even
know how to do a dat post. I'll go try to figure that out after this. I was
writing about "turning" Lego plates 90 degrees to achieve a finer way of
lettering. However the same thing works for rounded shapes. I've never even
tried to explain this so bear with me. What you have with the Lego bricks is
a modular ratio type thing. This means that to make a circular shape (like a
window) you make 4 arches with plates and then stand two on their sides to
complete to circle. I was talking about how to make these modules or "turned"
sections fit smoothly into a wall. Think of it like this...take a 1x8 plate
then add a 1x3 plate on each side so you have 2 bumps in the middle then add a
1x2 plate on the ends of the 1x3's so one inside bump of the 1x3 is showing.
Now you should have esentially a 1x8 "brick" with some space missing (or a
rough arch. If you make four of these and lay them on the ground it roughly
illustrates what I'm talking about. A guess a picture would be much better.
Let me see what I can do.
