  Wildwoods Doo Wop Motel
 
The summer weekends spent along the Jersey shore have been a constant getaway for my family when the kids were younger. We'd essentially drive down to the Wildwoods and stay at (URL) various motels> that lined up the beach. These motels had the (...)   LDD to LDRAW Conversion Fixes
 
I've been tinkering with the "ldraw.xml" file in LEGO Digital Designer (LDD), and have come up with the following list of fixes for good LDD/LDRAW conversion. In case you hadn't already discovered, if you append ".ldr" to the end of the file name (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jun-06, to lugnet.cad.ldd, lugnet.lego, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build) !! 
 
  Come build at LEGOLAND on the Fourth of July
 
To celebrate the Fourth of July: Red, White, and Boom! event at (URL) LEGOLAND California>, all park guests are invited to help (URL) SCLTC> build the world's largest US Flag made entirely from LEGO bricks. (...) Try epoxy resin. It is a 2-part glue found at almoast any hardware store. It should do the trick. Most LEDs are slightly tapered. Are you using a T 1 3/4" (5mm), or a T1 (3mm) LED? Have you tried drilling a hole slighly smaller than the LED, (...) (20 years ago, 13-Jun-06, to lugnet.build)

What glue will hold a LED bulb to a hole drilled in a brick? ABS glue from Ace Hardware does not stick to the bulb. (20 years ago, 13-Jun-06, to lugnet.build)

Hi, The recent MOC (URL) "The rabbit"> by Felix Greco has pointed out (URL) a technique> allowing bricks to be stacked upside down (SNOT 180). This SNOT180 can't be used for plates. But it exist a tehnique allowing plates SNOT 180, using only (...) (20 years ago, 22-May-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX) !

(...) Indeed. Alot of people have complained that many newer bricks are too specialized. Personally, I'm really enjoying the variety of slopes and wedges LEGO has seen fit to produce in the last few years. The new USC Batmobile certainly benefits (...) Great work Joel! I'm amazed how much detail you managed to put in at such a small scale. Some of the "newer" parts available now obviously helped a lot. The '89 Burton is also my favorite Batmobile. I did build one out of Lego right away after I saw (...) (20 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)
