Great work Joel!
Im amazed how much detail you managed to put in at such a small scale.
Some of the newer parts available now obviously helped a lot.
The 89 Burton is also my favorite Batmobile.
I did build one out of Lego right away after I saw the movie back in 1989, and
many years later I build one again as an AFOL MOC (Which is probally more
comparable to the new UCS release).
Good to see that the 89 is so many peoples favourite.
Who would have thought that this cool movie car still attracts so much attention
after all those years ...

Personally, I'm really enjoying the variety of slopes and wedges LEGO has seen fit to produce in the last few years. The new USC Batmobile certainly benefits (...) Looking around Brickshelf, I couldn't find many great interpretations of the awsome Batmobile from the 1989 film (there are a few good ones though). The (...)
