What pneumatic sets use a compressor cranking pump to provide air power?
S@H sells a Technic Service 5117 Compressor Pump consisting of 7 pieces,
ie, a small cylinder pump and several pulleys.
How well does this work?
Ever use it with an electric motor?
What limits its pressurization?

| (...) The only set I recall that used a motorized compressor pump was the 8868, Airtech Claw Rig. (URL) used the original 9V motor and worked okay. There are some other designs on the Web by other folks. I don't know what limits the pressure. I (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jun-99, to lugnet.build)
