What pneumatic sets use a compressor cranking pump to provide air power?
S@H sells a Technic Service 5117 Compressor Pump consisting of 7 pieces,
ie, a small cylinder pump and several pulleys.
How well does this work?
Ever use it with an electric motor?
What limits its pressurization?

The only set I recall that used a motorized compressor pump was the
8868, Airtech Claw Rig.

It used the original 9V motor and worked okay.
There are some other designs on the Web by other folks.  I don't
know what limits the pressure.  I would assume it is just the integrity
of the system.  AFAIK, there was no relief valve.
