Well, I noticed that the top of the boiler in teh LDraw pic is
horizontal, and the same height as the firebox top, and in the model as
built the firebox is a plate higher than th eboiler top, and there is a
step in the boiler top about halfway along. It looked a bit odd to me
and I wondered if you had built it originally the way the LDraw pic is,
and it didn't look right that way.
OK, now I have to go check my books and loook at pics of streamlined
A4's...
Hmmm, yes, the cab top, firebox top and the back half of the boiler top
are all the same height, then tehre's a slight slope down to the chimney
in the front half of the boiler.

As of right now, i only have two pics to work from, and they are 3/4s views, and not side views. I think i decided (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)
