Re: new moc: holly berry wreath

(...) C'est magnifique. I'm jealous of your foliage parts. A Lego wreath is much better than a questionably-smelling real one. Being a sucker for pretty, ridiculouly fragile things as I am, I just can't get enough of this. Happy Holidays, Kevin (21 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Military Moc Pages - Alive Again!!!

Greetings, I hate broken links and I've been guilty of having a broken link to my build.military MOC pages for a while. Well I've moved my site finally, and it's fixed! Thanks to the curator! SNIPPY (...) Hi Larry, heh, I get it: ABS-ton. Thanks for pointing it out... I hadn't noticed it before. Wonder if it was intentional...   Re: Any tips for building tall towers?

(...) I've always wondered about building a tower using just 4 2X4 bricks per level arranged in a way that there's a 2X2 opening in the center that would serve as a shaft as you go upward. Once the tower reaches its final height, top it off with a (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

Any tips for building tall towers?

I'm working on a module for the Great Ball Contraption, but this involves having a lot of stuff elevated way up off the plate. At the same time, I don't have a ton of bricks -- I'm a newbie to the AFOL world. So, I need to build some supporting (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

(...) Wonderful! Without being unappreciative of the rounded towers I really liked the castle shield at the bottom of the tudor level; it was nice to see them look so small. The whole thing was, of course, amazing! Great work, God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Cats and Lego

(...) Thats simple, its more fun to chew the shrubs, and bat them around. Bricks are rectangular and could hurt it you hit them too hard. And they'd be abraisive to check. That and Cats are evil. Mine are being particularly mad today, jumping about (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

Hi Andreas, I really appreciate the scale and details of your creation. The minifigures seem to be just about the right proportion to the building. Many details are nice but I especially like the lower level arcade, the bay windows, and the roof. I (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)
