Oops! Um, wrong parallel universe. But, there would be some solar tidal pull,

Solar pull on the Earths tides is pretty weak compared to the lunar pull. Itd
probably be even weaker compared to terran pull on the moon. Tides might
fluctuate an inch or two throughout the lunar month, but not enough to get a
good surf going.

You mean, the fact that the water is imported in barrels from the tanks
downstairs; the very tanks used to replenish the pool?
|
Um, yeah, something like that. Theyre, um, not just used to replenish the
pool, though. Spillover (you know, I just realized that I never added any
drainage sills), ends up getting processed through those tanks for return. And
who here wasnt slightly off-put by the opening scene of Waterworld (I never
understood why that contraption wouldnt work on ocean water just as easily)?

Boy, if the Lunar Water Authority ever hears of this...

Shhh! Hmm, actually that gives me a funny idea. I could put a couple of Space
Cops down there arresting the barrel-man. That might help get the joke across a
little better.
