I think it was the only major MOC that I worked on for about two months straight, though I did complete at least two small Toa-based MOCs. The gags just kind of flowed on their own, and about half of them were inspired by others as I added them. I bought a C-3PO so I could give one of the guys a gold speedo (second guy in line at the water booth), and then I had the sudden inspiration to put C-3PO in a speedo as well, since he was missing his hips anyways. That, in turn, inspired the sandcastle incident (originally I’d hoped to be able to have it intact for the first day of a show and have it get kicked down later, but the plates don’t work in the fourth corner). Afterwards I realized that I’d had a spare C-3PO sitting next to my computer the whole time, and one of his hands ended up making it into the display as well. The wierd thing is how many of them seem to go unnoticed. AFAIK, noone has noticed one of my favorite gags without me pointing them in the right direction first. I’m waiting to see if anyone does, this time, so I did make sure to include a good shot of it in one photo.

Too bad there’s no room for surfing.

There’s just as much room for surfing as there is for fishing. And there’s about as much point in doing so, as well.

Oh, yeah, and the price of a glass of water on the moon doesn’t surprise me one bit.

Ah, but the price of the water is only half the joke...and that’s all I’m saying on that matter.
