What I'm driving at is that if you want to do it in bricks and do it the easy way, studs up, the dimensions I gave for bricks of 2x8x15 high convert to 40 (...) | | | | | | Just for the record, notched axles work just fine... as long as you use enough of them. Quick experimentation showed me that using 6 or more produces a combined friction that holds the structure together quite tightly, even with the notched axles. (...)
