I would have loved to have had a cube that was more aesthetically pleasing like yours is, using LEGO for the colours - unfortunately my collection wouldn’t stretch to that, hence the stickers were used to tidy up how it looked. Your “roll the dice” post has given me a few ideas (BTW a 3x3x3 and 4x4x4 dice are possible I beleive) as to some obvious use of tiles :-)

Good luck with minaturising the cube to 4x4x4. Mine used 6x6x6 pieces - 2 studs smaller than yours. I originally toyed with a 3x3x3, then 4x4x4, then 5x5x5. It wasn’t until the 6x6x6 model that I had any luck - mainly because of the corner pieces and the central mechanism. I might give a 4x4x4 a go at some stage, but the cube is no longer on my priority list of things that must be built! I look forward to seeing your 4x4x4 cube.

Martin.
