In case anyone's interested, I've created a brickshelf folder
with version 2 of the Jeep Cherokee.  It features larger
balloon tires, cosmetic shocks, a modified steering system,
and a reinforced front bumper (which you can't see, but it's
there anyway).

What mods did you make on the steering and bumper?  I see you improved
the false engine too?  Suddenly the original wheels--which were already
oversize--look tiny!  Not sure which I prefer.

In order to make the big wheels fit, I had to widen the steering arms from
10 studs to 12.  The big tires would've hit the frame otherwise.  I also had
to lower the steering assembly and make it narrower so that I could squeeze
the shocks in.  As for the bumper, it just has a few extra plates underneath
to hold it together a little better.  I ended up rebuilding the engine
because I shredded the engine compartment when adding the shocks.

I really dig the big wheels myself.  It makes it look nice and monster
truckish :)
