Hey guys,

Awesome job, that is one cool car. I'm still trying to figure out at what
points exactly does the chassis (upside down studs) meet the rest of the
model (right side up studs). It's a real beauty, and I thought the black
katanas as windshield wipers was an extra-sweet touch. I hope Kenji and
Mitsuo won't notice Bram stole their troops' weapons!

What exactly do you mean by this? Which pictures exemplify this?

(...) Only the fenders and trim are upside down. The floor pan is studs up, and the side trim is attached like this: (URL) rest of the trim and the fenders are attached using similar methods. The reason we had to do the 2/5 stud offset is because (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

[OOC = Our Own Creation] Today Adrian Drake, Troy and Ken Cefaratti, Gino Melone and I got together at Adrian's house for a building session. Upon seeing my Mercury, Adrian reiterated his desire to build his own car, a Jeep Cherokee, sometime. Since (...)
