The biggest unexpected thing was the energy loss that is constantly
occuring. Everything has to be really tight to prevent that loss.
The other thing this project taught me was how incredibly complex real
roller coasters are, and just how many opportunities for something to go
wrong there are in real roller coasters! It gives me much more repect for
them, and I'm sure my next real ride will be all the bigger thrill because
of it!
I hope you guys try a roller coaster - I'm sure things can be done better
and smoother than I did them, and there is of course an infinate variety in
what a roller coaster can do. The further I got into mine the more basic I
realized it was compared to what it could be.
