Re: Anybody build the NEW Spyrunner?

(...) Sounds cool! Make sure you put some unusual weapons and a few mismatched panels in there, for that "Space Pirate" look! ~Mark (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Anybody build the NEW Spyrunner?

(...) I guess this may not be an official Alpha team set...maybe just a promo or prototype that Lego had hanging around. I was hoping there would be a new torso or 2... I like the flight suit. I didn't recognize the suit since I have not bought a (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Newest fan of the Sharpie for customizing!

After a recent inspiration (of Olympic proportions - pics shortly) I broke down and got me a selection of ultra fine point Sharpies to try my hand at minifig customizing. It seems Sharpies are the item of choice among LUGNETers but I'm curious about (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.general)

Re: Best adhesive for bricks / ABS?

(...) When I worked at the LEGO Imagination Center, we used the 'Super Glue' brand on Technic pieces. I don't know how well it will stand up to the tension though. Put a small drop inside the connector, then push the axle in. This way any excess (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Best adhesive for bricks / ABS?

(...) Can you please tell me/us more about your choice of glue, (as it relates to LEGO of course) regarding ease of use, fumes, strength, (amount needed) warping of bricks, etc.? Tom mentioned MEK - I'm guessing that's another brand? I need to glue (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Use for wings of the 7111 Droid Figher

(...) I'll get back to you after LEGO makes some brown 8-by-X[1] slope pieces... -- Steve 1) This started out as 8x6, but if they want to make 8x2 slopes, that'd be fun. (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

It comes on at 3:30 PM on "AIN" (American Independent Network) I beleive. Tite! I like that show a lot. It looks a lot like the one in the show. I agree, nice page (and good mechs), but the audio is getting on a lot of people's nerves (don't disinclude me). It was a mess after it and the MP3's I was playing and the midi mixed. -- Chef ICQ:84584424 AIM: Jedi101673 (URL) Schloemer (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  RE: Self-modified bricks - pure?

  Re: Self-modified bricks - pure?

(...) Ralph, Don't try to rationalize your behavior. Just because an element doesn't fit your standard of 'normal', doesn't make it 'odd'. Even if it is 'odd', that's no excuse to mutilate it. Euphonismizing your actions as 'doctoring' just makes it (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Aquazone Contest interest?

(...) These things will come to light when the official rules go up and the contest is announced. But, this is just an underwater themed contest. There may be an Aquazone or Stingray category, but anything is cool. (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)
