Re: Space Port - female astronaut?

(...) This is another example of TLC puting the star female minifigure in only the largest set. It happened in Arctic. It happened in Knights Kingdom. And it will happen again. I really wish I could get this figure in the Value Pack, which is has (...) (24 years ago, 17-Sep-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Some buildings

I just added a couple of pics to brickshelf of two different houses I've made. I made them strictly in LDraw as I don't have enough slopes for the roofs. I also left out the interiors, but you can't see that any way. The larger house has a (...) (24 years ago, 17-Sep-00, to lugnet.build) !

Re: My Lego Gundam in progress

(...) Very nice legs... but what is the black thing in the background? It looks like a cool cruiser. (24 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Favourite minifig?

Mine is the female town minifig with red pants, and a red-white-striped shirt, and long red hair tied up at the back. That's my favourite! And, the classic space minifigs too, preferrably the yellow ones. --Tobias (24 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Where do I find Blue "Neckerchiefs" ?

I've only found 2 of these in my inventory and I have no idea where I got them from. Can anyone tell me what set/s they came in? I have plenty of white and black. -Kyle kpeterson@newave.net (24 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: My Moc's

(...) I've typically used a 2x2 turntable plate (<part:3679> and <part:3680>) stiffened with a semi-thick piece of paper between the two halves. The trick is to get the paper just thick enough; your typical college-ruled school paper is too thin, (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: My Moc's

Eric, Mark: yes I knew about Diaclone for most of the Autobots (and Microman, I believe it was called, for the majority of the 1st wave of Decepticons). That's actually partly the reason for why I insisted that minifigs fit into all my Transformers (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New mecha (sort of)

Well, if you're going to be so persistent on the praise, I guess I'll have to drop the modest :) But all joking aside, thanks again. As for the hatch, the original mecha was built around the hatch. I think I was curious as to how I could use that (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha (sort of)

"Pales in view of the awesome designs that have been showing up." -Yeah right! I think you did a great job! I really admire smaller mecha over some of the behemoths that have been showing up (<nudge, nudge> Mark S., Bryce ;-)), since they usually (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha (sort of)

Thanks. It's gone through some additional modifications, but I'm not sure these are permanent. Regardless, I'm pleased with the overall look of the model. However, I think my model pales in view of the awesome designs that have been showing up. (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My Pathetic Little Website...

Your stuff is really fantastic! Its good to see some other folks creating buildings instead of some sort of plane, car or similar transport. What did you use for the clear pieces in the "Blue Spire?"   Re: New mecha (sort of)

Nice additions Travis! I think I like this mecha even more than the first time I saw it on your website and slowly went through the .DAT file. I think your mecha has one of the coolest torso's I've ever seen; I just love the hatch and the lights and (...) (24 years ago, 14-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New mecha (sort of)

This started off as my Soldier design with feet added. I then added stuff to the torso, which led to changes to the legs. I keep making changes to it, which I suppose is a the drawback and advantage to having the model actually in your hands. Once (...) (24 years ago, 14-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
