  Re: Got Mech?

alex- thanks for the input- yeah the bpt is my favorite and i'm kinda bummed because one of the coolest aspects didn't come out in the pics. like i said, its a two person tank- the rear pilot (rio and gunner) has a really cool entry system that is (...)   Re: Got Mech?

randy- thanks for the input, glad you liked the models. yeah, the whole sagging joints issue is a tough one. the technic black "friction pins" i've noticed come in two "strengths"- look closely at them and you'll see- some have "ribs" that run the (...)   Re: Building Gundams

Yeah, Mark's right, you gotta use yellow. I would also suggest using a L-CAD program like Mark said, but I personally think you could pull it off just by using regular yellow plates, tiles, even antenna. Here are some micro-fig Gundam models by (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

The laser in question is known as ABL or AirBorne Laser. Its built by a team consisting of Boeing, Lockheed and TRW. Its purpose is to shoot down theater ballistic missiles while they are still in the enemy's territory. Boeing is providing the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: Building Gundams

(...) Really, your only option is to use yellow. There really aren't enough gold parts to make this work very well, and I'll be very disappointed if you paint your Lego. I suppose you could build the thing using one of the Lego CAD programs and (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sith Infiltrator 7151 Alternative Model

At my local Wal*Mart they have photo disks, photo CD's and online storage. I looked ino this one day and you get low resoulution images for 3$ on a disk, high resoulution images on a CD for 7$!!!! Too expensive. But then they have online storage (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.publish)

  Building Gundams

Hey guys, havn't posted here in a while. Actually...havn't done much lego at all lately, with nothing interesting to buy (it's all crap) and doing other things (like Anime). Recently I picked up a few Gundam Wing model kits and was inspired to build (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Spaceworld v. 1.0

Hi Pat, I think the goal is to create a sort of site akin to Castle World, where people can bring their creations together to exist in a more closely-knit "galaxy." I'm sure there will be links to websites, but I think it would also be fun to have (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Spaceworld v. 1.0

I've been kinda out of it recently. What is going on here with this spaceworld thing? Is it just going to be a site with a starmap with various regions linking to peoples space sites? Or is going to be more homogeneous than that? What do I do to get (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)
