  Re: Stairs

(...) I thought so too, but several frustrated hours (and designs) later, I concluded they were. This is mostly because I was trying for a solid spiral, not an open-below (I did play with one or two designs, but Katrine's is cleaner). The open-below (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Catalogs (was Technic 99)

(...) Doh! 4. Online catalogs can be found at (URL). All specific geographic regions are available for viewing. The N.A. catalog should include all currently-available sets, even the S@H-exclusive ones Recently, this catalog has been very timely, (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Catalogs (was Technic 99)

(...) Good list, good descriptions, but I only counted 3. the three you did were FAQ quality answers, though. (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Catalogs (was Technic 99)

(...) (IMO) there is no definitive "LEGO Catalog". In North America, there are four different flavors of catalogs, with different purposes and levels of completeness: 1. In-box catalogs. There are basically two different versions of these: the small (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Brand New Rigs at Sixby Fire Tech

(...) Pretty cool, hard to believe that you can keep topping yourself each time you build something new. The walk though pump are of the pumper is pretty realistic. Just how hard are those shoelace hoses to make? Purists please take cover. (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

Brand New Rigs at Sixby Fire Tech

I do read LUGNET groups all the time, but I'm always afraid my posts will get messed up somehow, so I usually only post if I've got something new built, and such is the case now. I'm not even sure if I've got this set up correctly yet. I have added (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Catalogs (was Technic 99)

('k, I'm pretty new to lugnet and rtl, pls forgive this q that's likely to be frequent) From whence does one get a catalogue? Do you mean the 8-16page booklet that's inside the sets, or is there a "real" catalog to be gotten from TLG? -- -Steven | (...) (26 years ago, 3-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Action Toys

(...) For me this issue is mainly about giving gifts to children. If *I* am looking for parts for a MOC I will probably never leave the realm of technic. If I am, on the other hand, looking for a gift for a younger child I would like (and in the (...) (26 years ago, 3-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) in white. I'm sure others would be interested in the roadplate and the two straight rails. Also the inverted slope windscreens. Currently on offer at: www.auczilla.com/lego/ix/ there are 1 x 6 tiles in grey and black and 1 x 8 tiles in grey, (...) (26 years ago, 3-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

Larry Pieniazek wrote in message <368D93CF.3B9E29E2@c...AM.com>... (...) The Technic forklift 8248 has 4 8x1 black tiles, and is fairly cheap for a Technic set. So if you're into Technic 3 of these would do it. Moz (26 years ago, 2-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Smooth Plates

(...) express and ANWB Breakdown (Both of which Nik built today and they go together pretty good) but those are out of production and very expensive. Doesn't the little eXtreme team airboat use a few? DO they HAVE to be 1x6, or would more 1x4s work. (...) (26 years ago, 2-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Smooth Plates

I need 12 1x6 or 1x8 smooth plates. Any color. I can get a few in the 8277 Giant Builder. Any body know of another set that has an abundance of these plates? I use them for ways on my machines. Any help is appreciated. (26 years ago, 1-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Technic 99

Yeah, but at the time, I thought that the gear in the cybermaster kit looked alot like the new crown gear. I also have some other evidence... (A post will follow with some proof when I can get a make-shift website up together) (...) (26 years ago, 1-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Parts Storage -- a nice carrying/storage case

(...) Done, Tom. I'm just now finding my way around the Lugnet groups and didn't even know the storage group existed. What a wonderful site!! Robert Wallace robertw@netcom.com (26 years ago, 1-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Technic 99

(...) But there are no new gears in the CyberMaster set, are there? True, there are the yellow 3 stud diameter wheels which the tracks go round, but I would hardly call them gears? A new crown gear? Sounds plausible to me. Fredrik (26 years ago, 1-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)
