I have added three new rigs to Sixby Fire Tech. All three are part of
our new Vision Series of apparatus and feature newly redesigned pump
panels, a lower profile, and fully enclosed 3 man cabs.

The new rigs are the Vision Pumper - a high volume pumper with top
mount pump panel controls that carries an actual 82" of hose, a Vision
Quint - with a 3 section ladder and lots of tools, and the Vision
Rescue - a full size rescue/haz-mat with full pumping capabilities,
new compartments, storage on the roof of the apparatus, and a light
tower.

All these new rigs can be found under the Vision Series links at:

Or, if you want to get me some hits thru the Hyattsville Volunteers or
Firehouse.com, go to one (or both) of these, and follow the link to my
site.

apparatus, or any of the older rigs pictured there, feel free to
contact me, here or via E-Mail.

the pumper is pretty realistic.

Just how hard are those shoelace hoses to make?  Purists please take
cover.

(...) Paul, the shoelaces are almost too easy to make, for the record, here is how to do it: The supply lines are made from 5/16" wide shoelaces while the attack lines are made from 3/16" shoelace. The supply lines are easier to make. Just take a (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)
