| | head for minifig self-portrait?
|

Hey all, I'd like to do a minifig self-portrait one of these days, but I'm in need of a head that has glasses (not sunglasses) but no facial hair. I know that some of the divers heads fit this description, but they have a microphone to get rid of. (...) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) I think the first mod I will make to any LEGO pieces will be to take some minifig legs, and turn them from pants to shorts. Anybody got a good paint-match for LEGO Yellow? Steve (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Cool! Now you need an appearance package: - low profile wheels from the 8848 - the smaller technic shocks (for lowering the ride height) - some ground effects (maybe using some body panels like in the 8448, but in black) - a coffee-can sized muffler (...) Looking at the dimensions for the real world halftrack (2.10 m wide), it is painfully clear that even the width is too large - so the conclusion is, my halftrack is *about* minifig scale, and (...) I like how your mecha all seem to be very no-nonsense and technical-looking. The ThrowBots parts also add greatly to the poseability. I like the shoulder cannon :^) I'm going to have to get cracking on a new mecha. Dave Jr. has got me interested in (...) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Check out the "Sasquatch" in the U.E.S.F. Heavy Mech section. Some jpegs may not load but at least 10 jpegs will. See it at (URL) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
