Re: German Halftrack, Armored Car, etc. etc ...

(...) You're right ... I think some smaller wheels would be more accurate in terms of size, but I had made the decision to go with the big old' tires 'cause I thought they looked cool. The overall effect is very similar to the original, but the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: MOC: Starship "Suffren" Fighter Module; Basic Page Now Up

Wow, five, huh? MMMmmmm reactor core.... I need to invest in more bricks before I can build anything bigger than about 3 feet long.   Re: New mech @ Moonbase Io

I like how your mecha all seem to be very no-nonsense and technical-looking. The ThrowBots parts also add greatly to the poseability. I like the shoulder cannon :^) I'm going to have to get cracking on a new mecha. Dave Jr. has got me interested in (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: German Halftrack, Armored Car, etc. etc ...

(...) Having looked at the jeep a second time, I had kinda forgot why I used that somewhat strange setup for the front axle. But I believe that I needed a lot of half-stud offsets for the bumper mount and the grille and the headlights, and that was (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: German Halftrack, Armored Car, etc. etc ...

Thanks for all the positive feedback. As noted in other posts, Fredrik has already made the Jeep chassis dat file that served as the basis of the Willys MB.
