  Aquazone Question

Hey Y'all: I am intrigued by two sets not currently in my possession, one is 2160 and the other is 2162. The point of interest is the front dome pieces. The 2162 has two "clam-shell" like trans-green hinged elements whereas the 2160 only has the top (...) (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

(...) That would rock! (I gotta smile at thought of a watertower with blaster damage on top :-) Someone a while back (I think it was Michael Dorneich) said he was planning to build a football stadium with UFO domes. --Todd [XFUT -> .build] (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.build)

Aircraft of the World -- The Complete Lego Guide

I'm working on a Lego site entitled "Aircraft of the World -- The Complete Lego Guide." Before I put too much effort into the site, I'd like to know -- how popular would it be? How many of you can tell the difference between a MiG-29 and a Su-37? (...) (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

Have you ever warped or broken parts?

Hi there, I've started to construct things I would never imagined building as a kid -- things that might strain or even break parts. I've seen some examples of these types of building on various AFOL web pages, and perhaps so have you. For example, (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.build)

  The mythical gender-changing plates

Hi, folks, Forgive the rather broad initial newsgroup distribution -- there's a method to my madness.   Re: LEGO DUPLO eggs and K-Mart sale!

The egg top almost fits a 2X10 plate. It is slightly too large, so the fit is very loose. It definitly does not fit like the old radar dishes. There are DUPLO studs on the top of the 'top' and on the inside of the 'bottom', and DUPLO 'holes' in the (...)
