I'm working on a Lego site entitled "Aircraft of the World -- The Complete
Lego Guide." Before I put too much effort into the site, I'd like to know --
how popular would it be?

How many of you can tell the difference between a MiG-29 and a Su-37? (for
answers, see the bottom of this post, you cheater)

My first model will be a B-1B Lancer.

I don't have any of my pictures developed yet, alas.

I trust you are familiar with this aircraft? I've already taken my pictures of
it. All I have to do now is get them developed, scan them in, finish re-doing
the layout of my website, and then upload them. Should be about 2 weeks, tops.

Anyway, you can check out my base starting site at
http://www.netpluscom.com/~drew/

(The link is "Aircraft of the World -- The Complete Lego Guide." The graphical
link has a picture of a MiG-29 Fulcrum taxiing out on it.)

Side notes:

1) Immediatly after I had smashed the model, (pictures taken already), I
developed a landing gear that would have worked PERFECTLY on the B-1. Shoot >:(

You know the friction-hinge pieces that came with the Lego B-Wing? Turn those
pieces around, and attach your landing gear onto the tan dorsal-hinge pieces.
And there you have it -- the friction hinge employed upon landing gear.

My Lego model of the F-4 Phantom II will use this landing gear system.

2) The bomber is not in color. My collection simply isn't large enough to do a
model of this scale in color. (150 bumps long .. 60 or so wide.)

Go ahead, get a Lego piece, and figure out how big the thing .. was ;)

3) My fighter models WILL be in color. My F-4 Phantom II, which is what i'm
working on now, is all white with grey wings. (US Navy color scheme)

Feel free to email me.

The difference between a MiG-29 and a Su-37 is these:
1) The MiG was made by Mikoyan-Gurevich
1.5) The Su-37 was made by Sukhoi

2) The Su-37 is a larger, more powerful version of the MiG-29

3) They go by different nicknames.
3.1) The MiG-29 Fulcrum
3.2) The Su-37 Flanker

Aha, now, who can tell me what country operates these mighty aircraft?
What stunt team uses the Su-37?
What stunt can the Su-37 perform? (That, say, and F/A-18 cannot)

(...) Hardly...different roles as well. Like F15 and F16. (...) Russia, China, India, Singapore (?) (...) Russian (...) Cobra I know more about Su33 than 27 :) (Harpooner) James Powell (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)
