  Brickshelf Find: Mech by Razion

Howdy gang. Still reeling from my post-Fest hangover. I decided to treat you all with a grey mech by Razion. It reminds me of an APU from the Matrix trilogy but it also makes me think of Exosquad(not to be confused with Exo Force). This even comes (...) (18 years ago, 1-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Midsummer's Study 20: It's About Time!

(...) The roadbed rests on a platform and held in place using the 4x4 size turntable. I considered using the newer Technic ones (found on the 8421 crane) but the cost turned me away. (...) Honestly, I don't know the tension in ft-lbs but if you (...) (18 years ago, 1-Sep-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Stressing the elements & Calum's Harborfront talk?

(...) [...] Thank you for this insight into the LEGO company approval process for models. My question is : So p-less is illegal but is t-less legal ? If you don't know about these terms, check page 4 : (URL) (18 years ago, 1-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.schleim)

APC, and IFV and an artillery vehicle

Hello all, After being debuted at BrickFest as part of a battlefielf diorama, I have pix posted of three new armored vehicles. The Wild Boar Armored Personnel Carrier was my attempt at a wheeled APC. To avoid making it look too generic, and to give (...) (18 years ago, 1-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Supermarine Spitfire 1:16 scale

(...) Leigh, Wow, where do I start with this! It goes without saying but the detailing here is terrific, and a great example of the possibilities of building in more of a Model Team type scale, rather than good old minifig scale. The Spitfire is a (...) (18 years ago, 1-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: USAAF P-47 Thunderbolt

(...) Tim, Amazing work! I really like how you were able to build in all sorts of insignia into the fuselage - the detailing is very impressive! Thank for sharing! Magnus (18 years ago, 1-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: new vignette: the grass is always greener, or is it?

(...) Wow, you managed to post a new moc before I managed to even get home? Things are not always as they seem, that's some real food for thought. A dandelion is just a few seeds away from a beautiful wild garden. And, deborah at the risk of (...) (18 years ago, 31-Aug-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Midsummer's Study 20: It's About Time!

(...) In this picture, is the roadbed just resting on the supports? (URL) much tension are the cables under? Could this Lego model stand without the cables? -- Thomas Main thomasmain@charter.net (18 years ago, 31-Aug-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Midsummer's Study 20: It's About Time!

This was to have gone up a week ago but things happen. The important part is that is is done and photographed! At first I was going to build a variation of Winter's Study 19 but something happened and that got me thinking "Heck with the variation! (...) (18 years ago, 31-Aug-06, to lugnet.build, FTX) !

1/275 Scale Argama from Zeta Gundam

Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

(...) What do I think? I think it should of been at BrickFest is what I think. Holy crap this is pretty. Looks like a rebel blocade runner design at its core. Sweetness Jon, I think you raised the bar a tad. (18 years ago, 30-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: RAH-105 "THUNDER-CHIEF" STEALTH HELICOPTER

(...) Thank you for your kind input, Magnus. Yes, the 9 volt battery box is mounted in the tail section and it is mounted inverted so that I can have easy access to the button. The lego motor is mounted side-ways behind the co-pilot seat and it is (...) (18 years ago, 30-Aug-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: RAH-105 "THUNDER-CHIEF" STEALTH HELICOPTER

(...) this myself some time... This is very cool! I may be missing some of the detail because black doesn't photograph so well, but from what I can see, youve put a lot of work into this. Normally I'd say it looks a little chunky, but knowing you've (...) (18 years ago, 30-Aug-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: new vignette: the grass is always greener, or is it?

Re: new vignette: the grass is always greener, or is it?
