T93 Solaris - REFACTOR and DISSECTION

Thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback, it is much appreciated. As usual, I never know when to stop messing with a project and declare it 'done', and so I've been tampering with the Solaris. Based on some comments, and my own (...)   Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

(...) I'm not actually aware of any 'microfig' specification. Is there a standard for this? (...) Not continuously, no. Some of the ideas (such as the cylinder) originated in early 2002, but I've been attending school and working full time, which (...)   Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

(...) Keith, Did you recently have an unpleasant visit to a podiatrist? I'm not sure I understand what your talking about (as usual), but thanks for the 'hurray'. BTW, I stole your 'font'. -Jon (18 years ago, 27-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

(...) great, it looks used, it looks real. In my eyes it's definitely an interstellar explorer vessel, the front 'disc' being the habitation area (making humans *at most* two plates high), maybe even a detachable flying saucer? This thing really (...) (18 years ago, 27-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim)

Pirates! Yarrr here, there be dead men...

(...) -snip pic- (...) Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! Wow, I don't even know where to begin. As others are saying, this looks almost like a spaceship model out of a sci-fi show or movie. That alone says it all. Specific bits, like the engines and (...) (18 years ago, 27-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

(...) This rocks, I am blown away. Gray and blay is thoughtfully mixed, and that looks really good. The "nose" has an interesting ducklike shape, giving this SHIP an unique profile. And a microscale SHIP, did you calculate how long it is for a (...) (18 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Stuff I like: (3 URLs) I'm not so keen on the saucer bit up front - I think a flatter, more angular head would have been better. Also, missiles. I'm a sucker for missiles. Apart from those minor nitpicks it's quite stunning. I'll be borrowing bits (...) (18 years ago, 26-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris
