Re: The Brick Testament - The Teachings of Jesus

(...) That's kind of a startling image, to think that all my LEGO characters, from Adam & Eve to Jesus to GW Bush have all had John Candy proportions, but in some ways it seems right too. Actually, the strange thing about the minifig's girth is that (...) (18 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Three military vehicles

(...) I'm glad you like it. (...) I missed the fact that there are two 'figs in the turret. Knowing that, I think you've done an excellent job. Just remember that panels are useful in so many different orientations... Jonesy tought me that. -Duane (18 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Three military vehicles

Duane, Thanks for responding, I'm a big fan of (and very inspired by) your motorized tank! (...) Nice work! The Bulldog and Badger both have two guys in their turrets and I got them as compact (narrow) as I could. The MCV turret is seven bricks wide (...)   Re: Three military vehicles

Marc, Good to see you online, thanks for your comments! (...) The turret on the Bulldog is in front of the motor, so there isn't much space to move it back without changing lots of stuff on the inside. The barrel was built to not extend beyond the (...) (...) <SNIP> (...) Great MOC! Have you though about trying to slim down the interior portion of the turret? I've done one slightly smaller here: (2 URLs) (18 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Three military vehicles

(...) Nice hatch for the driver. The car doors as the shield on the APC are simple but effective. I really like the green pyramid on the main gun, but it might look better if you moved it back a couple of plates and lengthened the rest of the (...)   Re: The Brick Testament - The Teachings of Jesus

--SNIP-- (...) Here is where you get into the fat minifigs vs short minifigs debate. I like to assume my figs are about six foot tall and built like John Candy. As such 5 studs = 6'. Of course I build most of my cars four-wide but I freely admit (...) (18 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: MC7 Mecha Frames for Sale

Hi Greg, please post things being on offer in lugnet.market. Since there have been discordances in the past about selling in groups other than lugnet.market, we're currently working on clarifying those issues in the ToU and the .market charter*. (...)
