  Re: My first vignette--The Apology

(...) Your poetry, like A kick to the groin, causes Scrotal discomfort. Yay, haiku! This is a festive vignette. Very reminiscent of one of my favorite jokes of all time. -nk (18 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Rolling Walking Rabbit Wrecker

Neat mech Eric. Just one thing, don't you think the positioning of the crane and the lights and where cargo ends up is a little, um, suspect? :) No Bob, you get the hot load. No really Fred, I insist, YOU get the hot load. But I get it, the crane is (...) (18 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Burtonmobile

Great work Joel! I'm amazed how much detail you managed to put in at such a small scale. Some of the "newer" parts available now obviously helped a lot. The '89 Burton is also my favorite Batmobile. I did build one out of Lego right away after I saw (...) (18 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Rolling Walking Rabbit Wrecker

I like animal mecha. They remind me of ZOIDS. I'd like to see this motorized if possible. Maybe incorporate sensors or something for the wench. I think the ears might be to short for a rabbit. Try the red swords if possible from the Yellow Exoforce (...) (18 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Thanks Keith--Dan said your man-crush on me was getting out of hand, and I guess he was right. Derek (18 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.vignette)

(...) Thanks Jon--I'm going to use this quote on the back of my book when it comes out. Derek (18 years ago, 27-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Introducing Harry Vig

(...) Nice work, Allister! While they're all tours de force to be reckoned with, I particularly like the third - the upset table and the way you've captured the emotions of the situation without modifying figs is a testament to your skill with the (...)   Introducing Harry Vig

I am pleased to present a series of vignettes featuring a new character - Harry Vig. The first one is called 'Harry Helps Out' (URL) Next, 'Harry Stumbles Into a Men-Only Bar' (URL) And thirdly, 'Harry Resigns' (URL) Stay tuned for further (...)   Re: Burtonmobile

Great work! I reeally like the sleekness of this MOC. I also loved this line, which really captures the AFOL spirit : ) (...) I only have one question: Does it have a real shooting cannon? If not how can you even compare it to the lego version? ; ) (...) (18 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Wow... I have not see that winch since it came out in the 70s. Is it for sale? JUST KIDDING!!!...!!! (18 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Rolling Walking Rabbit Wrecker

Hey Eric, Very cool. The design of the feet is very interesting - though I'm not sure I understand the combination of jointed legs and wheels. Is this a rollerskating mech? The use of the old tow truck piece as tail is very clever. Bruce (18 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Burtonmobile

Really nice job. A fan doing quite a bit nicer than the official Lego version, which always amazes me, though it shouldn’t anymore. (18 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Rolling Walking Rabbit Wrecker

I have been thinking about a quad design that has wheels at its toes. This is a proto type proof of concept design excersize. Future designs will explore this set up with the final version being motorized. (URL) Rolling Walking Rabbit Wrecker> (3 (...)   Re: Burtonmobile

(...) The canopy slides. Its fastened on using a technic rod and moves forward 3 studs, making it relatively easy to put a minifig (including Batman) in the cockpit. It does not have to be removed. I suppose I should have mentioned that in my (...) (18 years ago, 25-Apr-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Burtonmobile

(...) Great work on what is easily my favourite batmobile. You've really made a sleek version in a relatively small scale. Does the cockpit actually slide or does it need to be removed first? If it does slide then you get even more points for that. (...) (18 years ago, 25-Apr-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: BAAL - Artillery Mech

This is a sweet Mech. The color scheme rocks and I just love the fact that this thing looks so mean for a small mech. All of the parts seem to have a purpose and while lots of detail (greebles?) is sometimes fun it's also nice to see the subtle and (...) (18 years ago, 25-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
