Re: A goat. Sometimes I'm close to despair.

HAHAHA! Awesome! Cute lil' guy too. Now you just need the Designer Set T-Rex chomping on one or two of these. :D "The goat? He's going to eat the goat?" "Excellent!" -Stefan- (19 years ago, 24-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Alternate MOC files with a challenge

Hi! The last couple of years I have tried to inspire many people to build there own alternate MOCs. Although I've seen quite a lot of these cool models there are still many people only asking for instructions or CAD files. Before I am going to work (...) (...) snip I think the three-leg design helps contribute to the angular theme of the mech, which makes it more interesting, IMO. Four legs would almost give it too much symmetry. (...) lol! That's adorable. The head is particularly fine. I love how the ears, if viewed on diagonal, look as though there may be heavy, bushy eyebrows. The udder is very clever.   A goat. Sometimes I'm close to despair.

Hello! When I got my first Viking the first vague thought looking at those horns was something like "....goat....". So I built one. I quickly made several designs for the goat's head and for its body. Then I faced the problem: Hot to attache the head (...)   The First Joe Vig Contest - Comments

I wasn't going to post any comments on the contest entries, but there were so many good ones that I felt that it would be wrong for me NOT to do so, or at least the winning ones - so here goes: (...) (...) Thanks, Peter, I'm still working on my photography. :) I agree with you , that movement for the T.A.U. would be far from efficient (that's why it's a LONG range fire support mech...LOL)! Thanks for your comments! -Jon (19 years ago, 23-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I understand your position, Allister, and appreciate your input, but the idea of building this Mech was more about having fun building and trying something truly " off the wall" than focusing on what could be done in reality. A tripedal unit could throw itself off balance, lift a leg, and catch itself in a more forward position--or balance itself on two legs before lifting a leg. I'm not claiming it's (...)
