Very nifty. There's lots to like about this, but the problem i have with it is
that a tripedal mecha in this configuration would never be able to actually
walk. In order to do that it needs to be able to lift at least one leg in the
air, which it could never do. Add a leg, and you'll have something both neat
{and} logical.

A tripedal unit could throw itself off balance, lift a leg, and catch itself in a more forward position--or balance itself on two legs before lifting a leg. I'm not claiming it's (...)
