By that logic, humans would not be able to walk either. A tripedal unit could
throw itself off balance, lift a leg, and catch itself in a more forward
position--or balance itself on two legs before lifting a leg.
Im not claiming its efficient but its certainly possible
Nifty design. I like the overall design and the color scheme--but a different
background color might have made the photos a bit better.
