  Re: Joe Vig Haiku

(...) Yes, it is off-topic, but since this newsgroup is the home of Joe Vig, here's my stab: Oblivious Joe, Never sees trouble ahead, but always finds it. "Big Daddy" Nelson (19 years ago, 29-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Shrine Of The Four WInds

(...) Nice little MOC, with a twist - literally. It's good to see new MOCs in .Adventurers! x-posting to .vignette, as the small size of your MOC surely passes for a vig. (...) T-Rex: Get it on... "Big Daddy" Nelson (19 years ago, 29-Jun-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

(...) The minifigs on the inside need to be careful that they don't stare out of those windows too much...they might go crosseyed.   Re: Steinford - my display for our 1000steine-event in Berlin

(...) Very beautiful, and large. Wow. Very nicely done. I've enjoyed seeing many of these models individually, and now they come together in one unit display to become even better. later, James Mathis (19 years ago, 28-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Steinford - my display for our 1000steine-event in Berlin

Wow. The buildings are very large, but still detailed. The roads are made of tiles. I love the landscapes, gardens and basically everything about it. I really have to congratulate you on your creativity and piece count! :) Kudos, -Josh (19 years ago, 28-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

thats lovely Stephen. I wasn't sure of that baseplate when I first saw it, but you have made great use of it there. (19 years ago, 27-Jun-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Re: A Lurker Converted

(...) I was interested to see the trans-smoke plates used in your weapon magazine. I don't know if you knew this or not, but some of the latest assault rifles use transparent plastic magazines, so the soldier can tell at a glance how much ammo is (...)   Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

(...) Thanks Geordan! I actually didn't think of the legs that way when I made them, but I like the way you describe them! :-D (...) Yah, maybe it's because the turret is a lot more faceted and complex, whereas the legs are smoother and, as you (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: MOAB

(...) Wow, thanks for the thorough review! I wouldn't argue with the idea that the MOAB is not as good a mech as the Spider Tank. Everything just came together for me on that Spider, and I still don't know if I'll ever equal that effort. I'm glad (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: MOAB

Kyle! I must say a week ago I ventured in to check out the newest Vrieze creation and was quite sorely disappointed.   Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

Awesome as usual Mladen! First off, the coolest part about this mecha are the legs. They are absolutely beautiful. The wheels fit in perfectly and the ladders as detail are awesome. The rockets at an independant angle from the leg are so sweet. What (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A Lurker Converted

Hello, Congratulations on creating an extremely posable first mecha! The basic structure is the hardest part and you've got it there nicely. The hand design is pretty neat and I like what you did with the head as well. Seeing as you're just getting (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
