Re: first vig: bad hair day

(...) monsieur françois is very particular about his wardrobe - things must match. i had two choices, yellow or purple. thought purple was too over the top, just a bit too much, so yellow it was. forgot completely what that would also represent! -§ (...)   Re: first vig: bad hair day

(...) the meeting's been and gone but our lug isn't well known for posting any meeting details on lugnet! only a few members created one and most of them don't post to lugnet or brickshelf.   Re: Track and Field vignettes

(...) Thanks, Nathan. This was a fun set of vigs to build. Sports have a natural action that is nice to capture in vignettes, so I plan on doing some other sports as well. Bruce (19 years ago, 23-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Track and Field vignettes

(...) Thanks, The ribon was actually my first idea after I made the pole vault, and led to expanding to the whole set of ten. It maybe doesn't come across in that pic, but I like how they're bursting off of the 8x8 platform out at you (more (URL) (...) (19 years ago, 23-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Vignette: Asphyxiate

Hey Chris, All three of your recent vigs are awesome. I'll reply here because this one is my favorite. The way you've broken up the action over three levels is great (though I wonder about the logic of putting the "danger airlock" button in a (...) Hi Deborah, (...) Any further information on this? I don't see anything either on lugnet.org.ca.parlugment or parlugment.org. Is this upcoming? (...) Great vig!   first vig: bad hair day

i'm not known in my lug for dealing well with small-scale projects. i like to build big, so when our may meeting's challenge was to come up with a vig, i balked, i hemmed, i hawed, i gave in. it's not a theme that most afols may be familiar with - (...)   Re: About Emerge

(...) Thanks for the kind words, Cyndi. Emerge has actually had a very good response- I think its just that Brickfest, Brickshelf, and our other forms of sharing having a different center of attention. There have been a few occasions where people (...) (19 years ago, 23-May-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Space Vignette: Asphyxiate, Too

Hehe, rich! This is a favorite. It's so simple yet so powerful. You get the story is a second. Sad, but funny. I like it a lot. Terry (19 years ago, 23-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Space Vignette: Asphyxiate, Too

I spent some time over the weekend working up some new (URL) vignettes>, mainly working on my theme of a "Bricktionary" of one-word-themed entries. I thought I had a pretty good go with (URL) Asphyxiate>, but someone pointed out that the minifig (...)   Re: About Emerge
