So, I need big treads. About 400-500 studs long total, and about 8-studs wide. I've jury-rigged some prototype treads, and I'm fairly happy with them, but I'm curious to see some other examples. (...) Thanks :-) I particularly like the fact that the effect is easier to achieve with Lego in 8mm scale than in HO or OO in 3.5mm or 4mm scale.
