  First Mosaic - Joker

I first saw a Lego mosaic during the master builder tryouts about a year ago (no, I wasn't a finalist), and thought it was pretty cool. I had the simple idea then to make an ace of spades mosaic, but I never really got around to it. Then in early (...) (20 years ago, 31-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  3D-puzzle: the Sphere

Hi all, 1) In April I designed a LEGO-version of the wooden puzzle-cube (in MLCad). (URL) 2) In May it was followed by the spherical version of that very same puzzle (also in MLCad). (URL) 3) When I got back from Billund with lots of tan and brown (...) (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, FTX) !

  Re: Shiny new things

There's clever parts usage, color coordination and advanced SNOT everywhere on these. So much detail in such small packages. Thought density. They are all master level MOCs. K ps. The Hardsuit seems to have tigerskin underwear, not that I noticed. (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Minifig - Monk

(20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle)

Re: Minifig-scale China Clipper flying boat complete!

Hi Matso That is a fantastic flying boat you have built. I clicked "up" to see your other models and like Ted says, your MOCs would look great at a show/large layout. I hope to see more of your Flying Boats in the future. Thanks. Chris (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Spotlighted. Well space is always a scary place for me to venture, since my first defence is to scream. We all know how well that goes over in space. But Soren, as I have mentioned to you various times in the past, your skill for the scaled (...) (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Putting downt the Riot

(...) I laughed. I cried. I kicked Fradel in the jimmy and had his car towed. I envied your collection of 6575 Polar Base walls. I really just dig how you can create a scene (as opposed to cause a scene, but that's why they keep us on different (...) (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Minifig-scale China Clipper flying boat complete!

(...) Excellent work. I love the sculpting under the tail. (...) A very reasonable compromise, I think! (...) No ideas from me, but I'll be listening in for the answers too. Cheers Richie Dulin (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) great and the interior is fine. (...) Well I dunno about that, but if I was building a flying boat, I would make the hull (below the load line) easily removable. That way you can display the whole plane in the air, but remove the hull for when (...) (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) Matso- That's one beautiful flying boat with the great bonus of interior detail. I would love to have it land on the beachfront of our current SCLTC layout! -Ted (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Star Wars Chess Set MOC

I've finally finished a Star Wars chess set MOC which I've been slowly building over the last year or so (Though it's more like 'purchasing in small batches', since there's very little actual construction.)   Re: Good Grief! It's Snoopy

(...) Very stable. It's weighted in the back because the head is naturally nose-heavy. I made sure of that, because I build the head first.   Re: Good Grief! It's Snoopy

(...) Thanks :) The problem I had originally building the head was making the eyes visible from the front view as well as the profile. Hinges are wonderful to build with :) -Anne (20 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
