  Re: Cats and Lego

(...) I HAVE to see pictures! Matt (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Cats and Lego

(...) There do seem to be a lot cat people around here, eh? Maybe it's because cats require less time/care than other types of pets, but are still reasonably amenable to attention. Our cat never paid much attention to our lego, but she was fairly (...) (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

(...) Wow. The scale of this project is amazing. You really nailed the real life building as well. I like the layered arches and the turrets. I'm jealous of your window collection, some of those sizes are near impossible to find. The sheep in the (...) (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Good Grief! It's Snoopy

(...) Nicely done. I like the use of hinges for the eyes. How stable is the head? Did you use a 4x4 turntable there as well? Just an idea, would tiles on the top part of his collar help keep the head stable? Now you need his red dog house to go (...) (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

(...) Right, 3 layers but only 2 radii since you use the 2x1x5x4 in both the smaller layers. That's what I thought but I wasn't quite sure from that vantage point. Another key point is that you offset the layers by only one. Many other people do a (...) (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Hi Larry, once more: (...) Perhaps that is helping: (URL) Andreas Böker (abhf) (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

Hi Larry, (...) the arches are quite simpel: 1.layer: arch 1x12x3 (#6108) width 12 studs 2.layer: 2x arch 1x5x4 (#2339) with one stud distance between the two arches -> width= 5+1+5 = 11 studs 3.layer: 2x arch 1x5x4 (#2339) with no stud distance (...)   Cats and Lego

A bit of a random mad post so stay with me. Ok, so scanning through Brickshelf, I've noticed a lot of pics of Lego MOCs and cats. If I took the pictures I'd have the same, except my cats would be kicking the crap out of my stuff. But are Lugnetters (...) (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

In lugnet.announce.moc, Andreas Böker wrote: (snip) Whoa! MAJORLY cool. It's like CCC on steroids! LOTS to like in that model. Spotlighted. Can you provide a shot of the arches looking up? I always like those gothic nested arches and I am curious (...) (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Candle

(...) Eddy, this is really neat! You sould crosspost this stuff to lugnet.build.sculpture, even though it's animated. I love it :), very innovative. (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Taz

(...) Nice work Bill :) I love yer work. You do an awesome job. (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Good Grief! It's Snoopy

Finally, I did something for 2004. :) I have been working on a Snoopy sculpture. This is the "base" model, as I have to build a bride and groom Snoopy (let's not get into the logistics of this) for a friend's wedding. I needed something to work (...)   Re: MicroMOC: Hot pursuit in the city

(...) That scene rocks! I'm glad you put more pics on Brickshelf, because one picture doesn't do this scene justice. The details are amazing. The monorail terminal is a very nice touch. From the side you can also see the street light hanging from (...) (20 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: MicroMOC: Hot pursuit in the city

(...) I don't have *computer* problems, all our computers work fine for all the other things I and the rest of my family want to do. I have a *software* problem with LDD, in that it has unreasonable system requirements, in my view. (...) I would (...)   Re: MicroMOC: Hot pursuit in the city

(...) Wow!! Larry with... er... computer problems. Something MUST be messed up. ;) I haven't tried installing the program on my computer, despite having a subscription to the master builders program. BTW, nice job on the display. I agree that (...) (20 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: MicroMOC: Hot pursuit in the city

(...) Wow, another great entry! As soon as I saw it my first thought was "I want to buy one of these." The details are great -- it looks great -- it has an action story -- what else could you ask for? It would make a great set. Regards, Paul (20 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Happy Christmas! from The Brick Testament

Ol' Santa Brendan's got a couple of Christmas gifts for his friends at LUGNET!   Re: New mosaic: Portrait of 3 boys

(...) I can't toggle colour layers on & off (I don't really need that), but I'm sure you can do the same thing for studs-up mosaics. You may have noticed my unglued, studs-up, one-stud-wide (URL) 42 mosaic>. As I am not a real programmer I have to (...) (20 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

Re: MicroMOC: Hot pursuit in the city

(...) Thanks! Although I'm a bit sceptic about winning... To enter the competition is fun, but I really can't understand why some models win. It seems that not everybody thinks the same way about a cool MOC. Ofcourse I don't say that there is only (...) (20 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.cad)

Re: MicroMOC: Hot pursuit in the city

(...) I do agree. It's unfair and personaly I think that the system requirements to let LDD run are far too high; the program doesn't seem to need these high specs. And the program has ofcourse some flaws, but it's the only way to get in the (...) (20 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.cad, FTX)
