There do seem to be a lot cat people around here, eh? Maybe it's because cats
require less time/care than other types of pets, but are still reasonably
amenable to attention.
Our cat never paid much attention to our lego, but she was fairly inert even
before she died.
Our parrot[1], OTOH, is very interested in lego. One of his cage toys is a
random construction of znap bits, he likes that very much. And he's a terror
when it comes time to sort out the pieces -- he stands astride the piles, like a
small, colorful dragon, guarding his treasure horde. And he's not afraid to let
you know it's *his* lego. Unfortunately, he's not very good at sorting; he's
much better at quickly de-sorting. Like children jumping into piles of leaves
in the fall, that's what he's like with the sort piles.
He also goes mad at empty Bionicle containers (they're about his size),
sqwuaking, biting them, ramming into them and knocking them over. Maybe he
doesn't like the pictures? Or maybe it's because he sees me putting parts into
them, so he's trying to rescue his lego?
