Re: Captain Cool-Guy: The Expanded Universe

(...) Thanks. Working at this scale has been a fun experience. I certainly look at the potential of pieces in a new way (probably the same thing a lot of micro builders are saying). Felix (20 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: 2 Micro MOCs : Heavy Haulers & Shell gas station

Hey Sean, Nice MOCs. I'm not as big a fan of the cement truck (it looks a bit like a mobile missile launcer to me) (perhaps the cement part should be angled the opposite direction?), but I really like the other two trucks in that setup. I actually (...) (20 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: Killer Whale Hovercraft

(...) It looks great! Having the toy, I have been wanting to build one myself. I have a couple of suggestions if you trying to make it a little more accurate. You could make the missle launchers smaller, just by using 2x4 bricks and sticking the (...) (20 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: 2 Micro MOCs : Heavy Haulers & Shell gas station

(...) Alternately, you can use the 3 and 9 keys on the numpad, which is really useful considering all the viewpoint controls are there as well. All this is detailed in the manual (Program FilesLEGO Digital Designerdocumentatio...eng.html). I hope (...) (20 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: Killer Whale Hovercraft

(...) I never had any GI Joe stuff as a kid (pretty much just Lego), but this is a cool model in its own right. You've got a lot of nice details- I especially like the mounted machine guns and the beautiful rocket launcher boxes. The hidden (...)   Re: Cornered roofs

(...) I've got a suggestion- try wings. I (very) vaguely recall seeing a MOC, likely a castle one (Anyone in castle know what I saw?), that used a roof design very similar to what you're trying to make but the builder used plates, wings and hinges (...) (20 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: 2 Micro MOCs : Heavy Haulers & Shell gas station

(...) Wow! Thanks, I'll have to try that!! I never would have known there were keyboard commands... Is that stuff documented somewhere? I was wrongly guessing all sorts of things like holding down Control or Alt while I dragged parts. ... I just use (...) (20 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: Captain Cool-Guy: The Expanded Universe

Re: 2 Micro MOCs : Heavy Haulers & Shell gas station

(...) Switch to a top-down view and place the cars where you want them. Then switch back to a side view and press Page Down to set them down on the road. Nice trucks! Marc Nelson Jr. (20 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

2 Micro MOCs : Heavy Haulers & Shell gas station

All: Here are my creations for this weeks' competition. I hope you like them! The images are a little "broken" on the LEGO Factory web site (missing pieces!) so I thought I'd re-post them here.   Cornered roofs

Hi all! I am building a building, with octocal walls. I use hinge bricks anf plates, which gives me almost 45 degrees walls. (URL) am looking for a way to add a roof, and found this: (URL) small though, but then I saw this part: (URL) took me some (...) (20 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.build)
