I've got a suggestion- try wings.
I (very) vaguely recall seeing a MOC, likely a castle one (Anyone in castle know
what I saw?), that used a roof design very similar to what you're trying to make
but the builder used plates, wings and hinges to hold them altogether. Granted,
the geometry involved in pulling it off would give a migrane but all the
available wing sizes we have today could make it possible.

| (...) I too remember seeing a round(ish) building using wings to create a round roof. However I'm pretty certain it was a railway water tower and was in a fairly recent Bickshelf gallery of a show. Anyone point me in the right direction? Tim (20 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)
