Dude, you are SO cool. I'm not worthy. <bowing> The cool thing is, these don't necessarily have to be microfig scale... they could also be minifig scale combat droids! Serious mechanical builders should study these handy directional transmission devices. They rank high along with other nice sub-assemblies, eg, adder-subtractor differentials and shifting transmissions. You may use them in machines with or without (...) Say, is there a good guide around anywhere to mech terminology, especially weapon types? One of the notations I've seen a lot of, for instance, is "SRM##", where the ##'s seem to be the count of rockets (i.e., SRM8 or SRM20). At this point, I can (...) <ramble> The first anime based show I remember watching was Star Blazers/Battleship Yamato (Though I don't remember mecha, per se.) Later I discovered Robotech and devoured every episode.
