  Re: Check out these mecha

(...) Those are great! It must have been hard to give them that much detail in such a small size. I especially like the Melee Mech, and how you represent people at that scale is also kinda cool. Greg Majewski (URL) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: A new contest

Eugwe, Mike's comment is a bit short, but Jonathan has a reputation that, well... sometimes precedes him. I am not defending Mike's comments (1), but you should not think that the comment arose without a history. And proper tack is the norm on (...)   Check out these mecha

Hey all, Actually, they've been posted here before, but not everyone speaks LDraw. :-, So they're on my Web page now, indexed from my Microfig-scale page.   Re: Mech terminology

(...) Short Range Missle. As opposed to Long Range Missile. The number does indeed designate how many. It's from Battletech. Well, unless they took it from someplace else. Mmmm... the Vulture outfitted with 6 SRM-6 Streaks was always my favorite at (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mech terminology

(...) Any of the BattleTech manuals (you have to go to a game store). Short Range Missle (amount). LRM is Long Range Missle. Bruce (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mech terminology

Say, is there a good guide around anywhere to mech terminology, especially weapon types? One of the notations I've seen a lot of, for instance, is "SRM##", where the ##'s seem to be the count of rockets (i.e., SRM8 or SRM20). At this point, I can (...) (...) You should check out some of the other Gundam mecha. It's true that many of them are heavily ornamental, but if you scour through some of the 20-odd different series, you can find more "military" looking mecha. Some of my favorites: Zeta (...)
