  Re: Spiderbot...

(...) Yeah, it shouldn't be there. I only spotted it after I took the photos...the pain of the bley thing just isn't going to go away, is it? (...) I'll see what I can do. My camera is pretty rubbish though. (...) Feel free, Andrew, I'd be (...) (20 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Welcome to the monastery my children.

Greetings all, I give you the monastery, the latest MOC from the Galactic Inquisition. This was inspired by the awesome floating idlands in the castle room at this year's brickfest. I decided that I needed to build one, and then thought I needed (...) (20 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build, FTX) !!

  Sears Tower Revisited

After visiting the Sears Tower for the first time this past summer, I decided my (URL) existing microfig model> was sorely in need of a major rebuild. So I completely dismantled it and started from scratch using the multitude of photos I had taken (...)   Ice Cream Shop

This one's a year old. I'm just getting around to taking decent pictures of it before I tear it down. This is the ice cream shop I've shown with MichLUG and Michiana-LUG as part of the block that contains the sand red hotel and tan museum. (URL) (...)   Re: Spiderbot...

(...) Pete - I dig this lil' bugger (bad pun intended ;-)! I am drawn to the leg construction and the overall spindly design. I like your choice of parts for the head...quite innovative use of "fangs". I also think the color scheme is great...but I (...) (20 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: And Bracket 1 x 2 - 1 x 4, too! (Was: Warning when using 1 x 4 x 5 windows!)

(...) [LDrawPart 3743:7] (...) I can confirm this is the case - the new hollow ones have no gripping power at all when used in hollow studs. ROSCO (20 years ago, 9-Oct-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: 3 Vignettes and some 'figs

(...) I saw this on Brickshelf 'afore you posted it, I thought it was a vignette of Edgar Allen Poe's story a Tell Tale Heart (the one where a guy kills and butchers another and puts him under the floor boards and tries to forget that he is there, (...)   And Bracket 1 x 2 - 1 x 4, too! (Was: Warning when using 1 x 4 x 5 windows!)

(...) Hi, I noticed the same fact at the Bracket 1 x 2 - 1 x 4: (URL) It seems to appear only at the newer parts of this type, which have the parts number in it. The older parts have no parts number, but the LEGO© sign. The problem seems not to (...) (20 years ago, 9-Oct-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: PCS-L.A.S.E.R.

I'm cross-posting this to military now, as I forgot to do so with my original post. (...) JP, thank you as always for your comments.   Legosis Eatemupis

I'm actually not really sure where this would go, so I took my best guess. At the LEGO Roadshow in Dallas (and most likely at all the other Roadshow locations), there were displays of creations by LEGO employees. In particular, there was this one (...)   Re: "Spartan" medium assault mecha

(...) Hey Todd, I like the overall chunkyness to this one. My favorite part though is the hands. They're simple and effective. I think I have hand envy. But seriously I think that Lego should put out a set like this one. I would buy it over the (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
