  Re: Micro: Black Seas Barracuda

I haven't seen your work before, but I'm very impressed with it! I really like the "large scale" layout you have of the village with the keep, the ships, and the waterfall in the background. Every little set is designed with such detail in mind ... (...) (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) It might be a bit more stable due to its smaller stature but probably not much. BTW, athough I have'nt bought the Titan XP, from looking at the pics that I've seen so far, it likely owes what stability it has to the built-in "limiters" behind (...)   Re: Micro: Black Seas Barracuda

(...) Justin, Excellent!! I recently created a (relatively) 2-D model of the same (e.g 1xX), but have not had a chance to post it yet. Great job in the micro scale!! Nelson (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Micro: Black Seas Barracuda

That's spectacular! You've done a great job of capturing the spirit of the vessel without it appearing blocky. It's amazing that even the thick sails don't actually "look" thick! Very nice! Ashley (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Dodecahedron

I was playing around this weekend, and noticed a nifty way to form a nearly perfect pentagon. At first I sorta passed it off as merely neat, and little else. However, I also started thinking about how it would look as a dodecahedron (everyone's (...) (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build) !

I think your village is going to rock when you get (...) (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.gaming)

  Micro: Black Seas Barracuda

Hi Here is a picture of my micro version of the Black Seas Barracuda. It is approximately 1/4 minifig scale. (URL) have other pictures of my micro models here: (URL) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale) !!

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) Hey, that's a clean design. I like your use of the new joints; I wonder, though, how stable it is. I bought the Titan XP and built the main mecha; it is way too large for those joints, IMO. Your mecha is a little smaller, and not so bulky. I (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Microscale Saskatchewan Parliament Building

I was in Regina for a wedding in mid-august and toured the legislature with my father (who BTW works in the Legislature here in Victoria.) Your version looks good but it needs to be surrounded by the huge park and gardens that made it truly grand. (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: Request to divert non-Lego build discussions

(...) A number of the posts in this tree have had their FUT reset to off-topic.debate already, after I saw your post I went back and did most of the rest. (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: A Family Stoned and a City Massacred

(...) I just wan't to be clear: when I wrote "I won't argue that" above, what I am NOT arguing or contesting is that illustrators like me can put a spin on things. So, Tim, to say you agree with Bruce on this issue is also to be in agreement with (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) Thanks, Kyle. In the next day or so, I'll add pics that shed more light on the hand, foot, ankle, gun, and saber designs. (...)   Request to divert non-Lego build discussions

(...) May I ask that non-Lego discussions be moved to the non-Lego area of Lugnet? (lugnet.off-topic.debate is usually a good choice). This thread diverged from discussion about building ancient creations a few posts ago. Thanks, Clark Curator (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: A Family Stoned and a City Massacred

(...) I'd agree with Bruce here, and also note that every other illustrated Bible also inserts its own spin/commentary in its illustrations. I think the BT rocks, but I disagree that the illustrations don't carry any commentary about the text or the (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: A Family Stoned and a City Massacred

Example (since that idiot reporter wanted to represent all of Lugnet with this particular episode): is there any part of the Bible that (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: PA005A
