  Re: Adam Silcott's ALM-011

(...) Definitely Eric. I saw that mech and was hoping Adam would post here @ Lugnet. So If you are reading this Adam Welcome to lugnet.build.mecha! This is one of the best mecha I have seen taking into consideration that not a lot of detail is (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Definition of "micro"

(...) I hope minifig scale isn't quite 1:60. If my math is not way out of whack, I think that would mean that a minifig represents a 'real' person that's about seven and a half feet tall. :) I think, depending on who you talk to, minifig scale is (...)   Re: Belville Fig of Death

(...) Ok, that good. :) (...) Thanks! I wish I could, the size was based on the Kill Bill movie picture I found with google and it was small so I had to shrink the Belville Fig. :( And with a bigger picture one could more easily se my bad editing of (...)   Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

This isn't my favorite BIJoe model, but it's stil pretty cool. Neat decals as usual. Every little bit of playability you fit into your mocs is, I'm sure, the result of minutes/hours of tinkering with bricks. The engine swivel is pretty neat, in fact (...)   Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) That's lovely, really. Lovely in its own right; I'm still not convinced by the canopy geometry, though (can anyone every fully be, given how unique the original is?). The color scheme is dead perfect, though. I'd love to see you tackle the (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Adam Silcott's ALM-011

I saw this a few days ago and I must say, I love it. It's probably in my top 10 fav mecha, simply amazing. (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Definition of "micro"

"Micro" has two conflicting meanings: figures and size of model. Confusing! Thinking further from Ashley Glennon's talk at BrickFest DC 2004... All models built to accomodate minifigs have a consistent scale (the minifigs can move between them); and (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Adam Silcott's ALM-011

Join me in telling Adam Silcott how cool his ALM-011 Lego Mecha is! If you attended Brick Fest 04, and you had a chance to see the Mecha and Bionicle Room, you saw a relative new commer. These Mechs are strong, sturdy and very poseable. Super cool (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) Oh, definitely. When I was a kid, all of my G.I. Joes were space heroes! And Cobra, space invaders. This belongs in .space for sure. By the way, this is the best. This model instantly at first glance conforms with the original. And since it is (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) That is AWESOME! If I could have thought of this when I was growing up I would have begged my mom for Lego instead of the actual GI Joe toys. Great work in every aspect of the MOC. Take care. (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) As always, great work! I've actually started playing with design elements for one of these myself. In fact, I think I'm going crazy... I remember seeing another great design out on the Web somewhere not too long ago, but now I can't seem to (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

Yer version is quite space. *sniff*... oh the memories of backyard battles and all the neighborhood kids bringin' all their joes for a cobra smackdown. (there was that one wierdo kid who (...)   Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) Yay! Skyhawk! This is one of the all-time great Joe vehicles. Small enough to be very whooshable, yet big enough to carry at least 3 figures (if you put a couple guys on the skids) It had guns, it had missiles, it had swiveling engines. It was (...)
