Seven World Wonders: Pyramid in progress

Hello to all, my pyramid is growing more and more. I've replaced the tan bricks with coloured ones (Which I have plenty of), and now I'm 'covering' the bricks with tan slopes. Here you can see the work in progress: (ddeplinks) (URL) moderation: (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: Side Bar Update - Soon

(...) How about a mininfig-scale Maersk Liner? Big, beautiful, and 45" long... Oh, wait..I'm in the wrong group....need to head back to Train/town area... Scott Lyttle (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Wow! Master Nakany does it again...

Don't think he posts here at all, anything else I've ever seen (beautiful-SNOW robo Pod) was by accident. "KNIGHT-GIGANT" [Giant and heavy Knight like Tetsujin] (URL) I was looking at the "Recent folders" I thought it was a robo action figure (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Side Bar Update - Soon

Hey all, I'll update the side bar in a couple of days. Or if Dave gets a chance. I have been working on a Moonbase, and wow, its gonna be cool. I'll be back with pics and some sidebar action for the new builds as soon as I get a chance. Anyone wanna (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Project: Gundam Completed!

Hey, cool! I really like how you did them without ot many slopes. It's hard to use blocks like that and make it look good, but you did it. However, they do look a bit blocky. Some slopes, especially in the leg areas, would make it look better I (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Pyramids!

Hi there, If you look in an encyclopedia you can find a list of 7 wonders, but these "top 10 lists" of the ancient world eventually got rewritten. Whether that was because the originals were gone, or too many new places were crying for attention, I (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Japanese Zeros attack Brickshelf!

Two great versions of the WWII Japanese warplane posted on brickshelf on the same day--hurray! I've been wanting to build one of these to dogfight with my P-61--now I have two great inspirations. Check these out: Zhod's version is based on Mattias (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Project: Gundam Completed!

(...) Hehehe, exactly! I'm by no means a lego purist, but I do love my 2x4's. Also, the RX-79 and RGM-79 have rather sharp lines anyway, they aren't your average Deathscythe/Wing Gundams. More 'military', I guess. (...) Thanks. The key to the head (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Project: Gundam Completed!

(...) Thanks. I've been playing around with ways to do that, but I don't have the right hinges right now, nor the cash to buy them yet. Hopefully that will be an upgrade soon though! Ry out (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Brictoria Barracks is up and running

(...) I'm looking forward to seeing the MK2 etc. (...) I definitely wouldn't want to deface or use stickers with my minifigs either. I don't disagree with others making their own sticker designs etc and I have seen some great designs and some great (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: Brictoria Barracks is up and running

(...) Thanks. I'm currently working on a Mk. 2 version of the 25lb field gun, with the gun having a mounting that looks closer to what the WW2 ones had. I am also trying to get the traversal wheel to retract for transport. At present the wheel gets (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: White Patrol Mech.

(...) Yeah the upper arms and upper legs are thin, but that's deliberate. I've got a theory about mecha proportions: It doesn't matter how much you exaggerate the scale of the various parts, but as long as the arms are in proportion to the legs, and (...)   Re: White Patrol Mech.

(...) Thanks Dave. I haven't done a piece count, but I suspect it'd probably be a bit high to hit that price point. Cheers, Allister (20 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: White Patrol Mech.

(...) Zoinks! (...) One of the few things that didn't change much as the design progressed. (...) Yeah, I know it's similar to what's gone before, but it fit, and I've never built one myself. (...)
