(...) I like the flat tiles on the roof, the coffered ceiling, and the trophies (shields?) around the inside. Also the use of corrugated bricks as columns. (...) If you are really set on a single backboard, I would buy 4 thin sheets of 4 X 8 plywood. Lay 2 pieces side by side to form a 8 X 8 square. <snip> Yes, 4 x 8 is the standard size for sheets of plywood. One alternative is to get (2) 4x8 sheets, and have them cut down to (2) 3x8 sheets.
